Barrel of M&M'

I made this barrel of m&m cake the other day and it was a big hit with the kids! I personally thought it was way to sweet with all the candy but it was very cute. If i make the cake again i will make sure the kit kats are taller then the actual cake as that would look better. Making this cake was very simple you can use any cake mix you prefer (and all the ingredients to make this cake). i used about 6 packs of the snack size kit kats they come individually wrapped in twos i think 8 to a pack.  and a large bag of m&m's. i frosted the cake in a white butter cream but looking at it know a chocolate frosting would look better. Then i lined the kit kats all around the cake and topped it off with as many m&ms that would fit!
